A creamy, cheesy classic comfort dish baked to golden perfection.
Boil macaroni until al dente, drain, and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour to form a roux.
Slowly whisk in milk, cooking until thickened.
Add cheese, mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
Mix sauce with pasta, pour into baking dish, and bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.
